POSITION SUMMARY:
Primarily responsible for providing case coverage support and professional training to physicians and other clinical professionals utilizing Minerva's suite of products. Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, and research coordinators. Support Territory Manager activities for achieving sales goals in the region and for maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Employees in this position must ethically manage the entire sales process to promote the company’s products.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with Territory Manager support of case coverage; case scheduling; training and in-service visits.
- Build rapport and relationships by making product presentations/demonstrations to surgeons, nursing staff, surgical assistants, hospital administration and others necessary to support achievement of territory sales objectives.
- Must utilize good time management skills to effective support scheduled cases. Utilize good business judgment and maturity.
- Provide surgical procedure and technical product support while in the surgical suite. Maintain excellent customer service and response times.
- Assists in monitoring and maintaining customer satisfaction by submitting timely purchase orders, sales planning, location of company equipment and inventory. Submits expenses reports in a timely manner.
- Report customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests within 24 hours of being notified.
- Plan and conduct professional education programs, resident training, dinner symposia, product in-services, etc. as identified by the Territory Manager.
- Maintains regular communication with company home office through sales reporting, conference calls, attending sales meetings, etc.
- Maintains equipment, advertising, and promotional matter in a presentable and orderly manner
- Comply, meet, and abide by all territory healthcare facility vendor credentialing polices.
- Support accurate, consistent, and timely management of inventory.
- Provides support for regional marketing events, conventions and symposia.
- Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures, instructions, directives, code of ethics, AdvaMed guidelines and other required training.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of urgency to achieve goals and objectives.
- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to meet and maintain customer/medical facility access requirements.
- Willing to travel for work when required up to 80% of time.
- Demonstrative compliance with necessary administrative functions of the position.
- Able to at least lift 40 lbs.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND JOB EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science from an accredited university.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience sales experience.
